Brand Communications

Southwest Airlines, UW Athletics

I have developed a strong foundation in brand communications through hands-on experience across various organizations, including major athletic programs and Fortune 500 companies. My work has focused on crafting engaging narratives, managing social media strategies, and fostering meaningful connections between organizations and their audiences.

As a Brand Communications Intern with the University of Wisconsin Athletics Department, I worked closely with leadership on communication strategies for multiple teams, including football, women's hockey, and men's soccer. I drafted press releases, created website content, and managed social media channels with a combined following of over 100,000. My role included live event coverage, content creation, and fan engagement, helping enhance the visibility and reputation of our athletics programs.

At Southwest Airlines, I further honed my communication skills by developing internal newsletters, memos, and video content for over 10,000 pilots. My efforts resulted in a 40% increase in engagement with internal communication platforms. Additionally, I supported pilot engagement initiatives through on-site content creation and strategic communication during operational disruptions.

These experiences have equipped me with expertise in multimedia content creation, strategic storytelling, and audience engagement—skills that I bring to every project with enthusiasm and precision.
